Description

Dax Advance Tank Clean from Daxter Ind LLC is a water-based hydrocarbon tank cleaner manufactured at our Sharjah facility for hydrocarbon freeing, degreasing and preparation of marine cargo tanks, ballast tanks, slop tanks and oil field storage tanks. This tank cleaner emulsifies crude oil residues, fuel oil sludge, black oil deposits and general hydrocarbon contamination, releasing them into solution for controlled removal during the wash cycle.

Water-based formulation eliminates the fire risk and disposal complexity associated with solvent-type tank cleaners, and simplifies compliance with vessel and terminal HSE requirements. Effective at emulsifying a wide range of hydrocarbons including crude oil, heavy fuel oil, diesel, lube oil and mixed slop residues. Prepares tanks for gas-freeing, hot work, inspection, product change or dry-docking by breaking the film of hydrocarbon that continues to release vapour. Concentrated formula performs across a range of dilutions and application methods, from butterworth machines to direct injection and manual scrubbing. Compatible with steel and coated tank internals when used at recommended dilutions. Biodegradable surfactant system suits discharge into approved reception facilities.

Directions for Use

Prepare the tank in accordance with your vessel or facility’s tank cleaning procedure and HSE risk assessment. Dilute Dax Advance Tank Clean at the recommended ratio for the contamination level and application method. For heavy black oil residues, use direct injection at higher concentration; for general cleaning, use lower dilution through washing machines. Allow the recommended circulation and contact time. Rinse thoroughly and route wash water to slops or approved reception facility. Do not discharge to sea in violation of MARPOL Annex I requirements. Handling and Storage

Wear gloves, eye protection and protective clothing. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Store upright in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children. MSDS available on request.
