DX-8 Bleach

Description

Concentrated bleach solution from Daxter Ind LLC, sold as DX-8, is a sodium hypochlorite formulation manufactured at our Sharjah facility for general cleaning and disinfection across commercial, industrial and institutional applications.

This concentrated bleach solution is a pale yellow liquid that kills a wide range of pathogenic bacteria while lifting organic staining and biofilm from hard surfaces where a powerful disinfectant is required.

Directions for Use

This concentrated bleach solution is a strong oxidiser. Wear chemical-resistant gloves, eye protection and appropriate protective clothing. Ensure adequate ventilation.

Dilute at the recommended ratio in cool water — never hot water, which accelerates decomposition and releases chlorine gas. Add bleach to water, never water to bleach.

For surface disinfection, apply the diluted concentrated bleach solution to the pre-cleaned surface and allow the recommended contact time before rinsing.

For drain and waste pipe treatment, pour the diluted solution directly into the drain and allow to stand for the recommended contact time before flushing with plenty of clean water.

Rinse food preparation surfaces thoroughly with clean potable water after the disinfection contact time.

Handling and Storage

CRITICAL — never mix this concentrated bleach solution with ammonia-based cleaners, acidic descalers, toilet bowl acids, DX-36 all purpose cleaner, DX-17 rust remover or any acid product. Combining bleach with ammonia releases chloramine gas. Combining bleach with acid releases chlorine gas. Both are hazardous and potentially fatal in enclosed spaces.

Do not use on aluminium, stainless steel with prolonged contact, natural stone, or coloured fabrics.

In case of skin or eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.

Store this concentrated bleach solution upright in original packaging in a cool, dark, well-ventilated place, separated from acids and ammonia products, and out of reach of children. Bleach degrades with heat, light and time — rotate stock and use within shelf life.
