Description

Dax Alkaline Liquid + from Daxter Ind LLC is a heavy-duty water-based alkaline tank cleaner manufactured at our Sharjah facility for the removal of heavy hydrocarbon residues, vegetable oils, animal fats and fatty acid deposits from cargo tanks, storage tanks and process vessels. This alkaline tank cleaner delivers powerful cleaning performance where a neutral detergent falls short, particularly on saponifiable residues that respond to alkaline chemistry rather than solvent action.

Key Benefits

Alkaline chemistry saponifies vegetable oils, animal fats, fatty acids and biodiesel residues, converting them into water-soluble soaps that lift cleanly during the wash cycle. Effective on heavy hydrocarbon residues, lube oil sludge and carbon deposits that neutral cleaners struggle to shift. Water-based formulation avoids the fire risk and disposal complexity of solvent-type heavy duty cleaners. Concentrated formula performs at controlled dilution across butterworth machines, direct injection and manual application. Well-suited to cargo changes involving edible oils, biofuels and other saponifiable products where thorough removal is required before loading the next grade. Compatible with steel and correctly specified alkaline-resistant tank coatings when used at recommended dilutions.

Directions for Use

Prepare the tank in accordance with your vessel or facility’s tank cleaning procedure and HSE risk assessment. Dilute Dax Alkaline Liquid + at the recommended ratio for the residue type and application method. Apply through butterworth machines, direct injection or manual scrubbing. Allow the recommended contact time — alkaline saponification benefits from warm wash water where the tank cleaning plan permits. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and route wash water to slops or approved reception facility. Do not use on zinc silicate coatings or aluminium surfaces.

Handling and Storage

Alkaline product. Wear gloves, eye protection and protective clothing. Do not mix with acids. Store upright in a cool, dry place, away from acids and out of reach of children. MSDS available on request.
